This year I decided to decorate for Valentine's Day! Normally I don't because in the past the Valentine's Day decor had always seemed a bit pricey to me.
Now that stores like Dollar Tree offer some craft supplies for the holidays, it's easy enough to be frugal about decorating your home!
The supplies I used for my centerpiece consisted of (3) bags of heart picks, (4) bags of heart table scatter, (2) small vases, (1) large vase, (4) rose bush stems, (1) bag of conversation hearts, and (1) balloon. I was able to purchase everything for $16! And not only was it super affordable, but it only took 5 minutes to put it all together!
Let's just hope that my kids keep their hands out of the conversation hearts!
My favorite find was the felt heart picks! The pink ones had glitter on them!
Note: It's easier to add the picks first, and then the conversation hearts. If you add the conversation hearts first, it's very difficult to add the picks! The hearts just don't move!
