This week at Menards, you can get this huge bag of poly strips (foam) for only $13.40. I know you are probably thinking, what the heck would I do with that? Make some custom wall art of course!
Many, many moons ago I shared with my readers how to make super duper easy fabric wall art! Foam pieces can some times be a little pricey at Michael's and Hobby Lobby so after seeing this deal at Menards, I had to share it with you!
Making your own custom fabric wall art is simple! All you will need is foam pieces cut to whatever size you would like (I suggest using a razor), fabric to cover the foam, a scissor and stick pins! A thimble is also helpful.
Lay the Styrofoam piece on top of the fabric and trim the fabric so that it will fold over the back side of the Styrofoam by approximately 2". Fold over the corners as shown in this picture and fasten the fabric to the Styrofoam using stickpins.

See, super easy! The poly strips that are shown in the photo above are 1 1/2 inch thick which gives the wall art depth! You can use double sided tape, foam board hangers, or these One Step Hangers which work great (also found at Menards) to hang the pieces on the wall!

If you are looking for a frugal way to fill a large space, try this! You can even change the fabric for the holidays to make your home even more festive!
